Popular cafe in Block Place, Melbourne City.

* Mushroom & Chicken risotto (with peas!)

* jerusalem artichoke and hazelnut soup
* sesame and chilli spiced soft shell crab, tian of fresh crab, tomato, avocado, tomato consommé jelly (2 photos)
* seared japanese scallops, celeriac puree, ratatouille vinaigrette, baby coriander


* five spiced duck and fried abalone mushroom risotto
* crispy skin duck breastand slow roasted leg, glazed vegetables, sauce ala orange
* saffron spaghettini, hand picked blue swimmer crab, chilli, basil
* crispy skin fish fillet, baby leek, carrot, champagne sauce
* spiced rhubarb and blood plum crumble, homemade clotted cream
* oven baked filled crêpe, chocolate, walnut and vanilla bean ganache
* hazelnut and honey tart, coffee foam, white chocolate icecream

Food was good though abit salty!

Great Breakkie Cafe in Balwyn :) Generous servings from fine produce!!! Excellent!!!
* snow pony scrambles w/ fresh herbs and holy goats cheese on wholegrain toast (Extra Bacon)
* open style fillet steak sandwich, aged cheddar, red onion jam with caponata + poached
greens egg
* Toasted Piadani- honey roasted pumpkin, baked ricotta, roasted peppers, caramelised onion, pine nut + basil
* smashed avocado w/ thyme buttered mushrooms + marinated fetta on toasted wholegrain bread w/ a poached egg
* poached eggs on toasted grain bread w/ spinach, red pepper pesto + hazelnut dukkah

punchlane





Nice little wine bar place. more a wine place then a food place. Food was decent, abit on the smaller side, and pricey too!
* Grilled rib eye with mushroom, lardons, shallots & jus
* Pappardelle with chicken, field mushrooms, cream, thyne & parmesan
* Kingfish with with buttered spinach and a wedge of lemon
* Seared scallops wrapped in pancetta with cauliflower cream, lemon & parsely salad ($36.50) and only 5 scallops!!!
